All the Time in the World
snow already, i can hardly believe it
september the 21st
ain’t ready for the changing of seasons
summer’s water hasn’t slaked my thirst
without warning the leaves are changing
best get out of their way
i could have sworn i just now missed seeing
the ice cream man turning away
i had all the time in the world
somehow i have pissed it away
and now i’ve grown old, and though i am not weary
i can feel the end of my days
born and raised in a catholic family
though i never saw catholic school
i amazed how much will stay with you
how you waste your time following the rules
took me a wife, though I’ve never regretted
a house and a job with that role
avery man’s got a wife and every man has a lover
you are my love, and i’ll not let you go
