santa (rides a big ol' harley davidson)

santa’s got a beard, but it ain’t white
he don’t go ‘round with no reindeer on no christmas night
instead he’s making sure there’s enough to go around
from a barstool in his workshop on the edge of town

he gets on the phone this time each year
to organize a rally for some christmas cheer
calls up all his helpers, they’ve got lots of pull
he needs a big bag of toys and a tank that’s full

now he’s in his leathers and his boots and chains
with a poncho in the saddlebag in case it rains
he and all his elves are on a charity run
santa rides a big old harley davidson

he doesn’t know if you’ve been naughty
he does not care if you’ve been nice
instead of “ho ho ho”, it’s “know yourself”
and “take your own advice”
santa’s seen a thing or two in the world he knows is wrong
but when he seens the faces of those kids
he knows he’s right where he belongs

now they’re roaring down the road, at least 100 strong
two abreast, a line of brothers half a mile long
on customized choppers and old fat boys
now it’s time to spread a little yuletide joy

the bikers in the bar are an imposing sight
it’s not the kind of place you’d want to take your kids at night
but with santa and his elves to take away their fear,
some moms and dads will sleep a little better this year

santa’s got a beard, but it ain’t white
he don’t go around with no reindeer on no christmas night
he and all his elves are on a charity run
santa rides a big ol’ harley davidson
