"Get Off My Lawn" is one of the most important records in recent memory. Those who think of it as comedy haven't listened right. The album is David at his most acerbic and witty, yet it's still contemplative and musically rich. Those who call him "The George Carlin of folk music" don't get the whole picture. His songs go way beyond social commentary. Those of you who take offense, and ask "are you talkin' to me?!" can rest assured, that, yes, he is. He's talkin' to you, and you'll listen, too, and like it. Plus, no one has as much fun on stage as David does, either, and it shows. In a genre that seems to be collapsing under the weight of its own verbosity and self-importance, David Stoddard might be the one performer who can save it. Songwriters take note: the bar has been raised, and that's just a simple fact. Olin McGrath

Well, Hey. I’ve just finished my
new recording.
it’s called
Get Off My Lawn.

It features a bunch of new songs in a
live setting, captured over the years
at various festivals, concerts,
and radio appearances. One of them (the first thanksgiving) was premeired on Minnesota Public Radio's Morning Show on The Current.
